本月初，有新闻爆出加拿大零售巨头 Bed Bath & Beyond 即将关闭所有 54 家加拿大商店。而现在这家很多人喜欢的大型家居用品店正式官宣永久关门日期，而且一些店里已经开始特价清货了。
说起Bed Bath & Beyond，很多华人都很喜欢吧，简称BBB的这家店，常常有Dyson，Staub，Beeville，Smeg等网红电器产品打折特价，各种床品，卫浴用品等也都能找到性价比不错的。
据Daily Hive报道，Bed Bath & Beyond Canada 表示，已经开始清算其库存，这是其计划中完全关闭加拿大连锁店的一部分。
在BBB的加拿大官网上，公司官宣：“感谢所有粉丝和顾客，我们不得不做出完全撤离加拿大的艰难决定，现在大家就可以去实体店选购清仓打折货品。”
该公司表示，“Bed Bath & Beyond Canada 将开始在加拿大所有 Bed Bath & Beyond 和 Buybuy Baby 商店清仓特卖，截止日期为 2023 年 4 月，届时我们预计将结束所有在加拿大的业务。”
发言人表示，“公司仍然感谢员工的奉献精神和许多贡献，并感谢客户的支持。”
位于温哥华 West Broadway 的店里，可以看到各种清仓特卖的打标签和打折货品，预计4月彻底关门之前折扣会越来越大。
不过，每次这类清仓销售都是很矛盾的：刚开始折扣小选择多，越到后来折扣越大，选择则越少。
根据日期为 2023 年 2 月 10 日的法庭文件，Bed Bath & Beyond 在加拿大关闭主要原因是于疫情相关对的供应链问题造成了重大损失，并且确定加拿大业务“无法独立盈利”。
在加拿大， 截至2023年1月31日，BBB公司在加拿大雇佣了387名全职员工和1,038名兼职员工。
该公司在美国也表现不佳。据彭博社报道，公司的垮台只能归咎于自己的原因，包括未能转向在线、依赖其著名的 20% 优惠券等。
